I have just watched Gardeners World and Monty Don was using a bulb planter is this blatant advertising of the tool or is it any good??

if he's using it , it's probably unbelievably expensive.
true although there is a cheaper version in b&q
I think there was a thread about bulb planters before. My OH bought me one last year and it was a great help planting daffodils. He found it on the internet. But the earth (clay) was hard to get out. OH found a metal parasol stand and I pushed the earth out with that. Worked a treat.

I think you might have to mention the manufacturer of a piece of equipment, to get paid for it

No Mention of manufacturer just a frame of him using the item
I think nutcutlet is right. Monty just used the tool but he didn't say what make it was, or show a label. I don't think he would have been paid extra for that. Hard to make a gardening programme without showing any garden tools.
