I dont know then, but if you didnt put it there, then its an airborne weed. Its up to you but I would pull it up if it was in my garden, its using up nutrients in your soil that your plants need,.

I have lavatera in the front of my garden which has different shaped leaves and woodier stems to this, but I think it must be perhaps another variety maybe, thanks for all your suggestions, as Lyn says I think it is time to pull it up now as it has not produced any nice flowers.

One suggestion for research: Lavatera marítima!

Growth looks mallow-like to me.
