  • Last one I had was when I fell off my horse rather spectacularly, when she decided to jump a five bar gate.

I was riding her bareback and had no hard hat on (and no intention of jumping anything either!!) image

  • GG, reminds me of my Welsh pony, Cupid, a most unsuitable name.  We parted company on many occasions but that was partly because my balance has never been particularly good and he was wonderfully enthusiastic.  He always stopped in his tracks and gently munched any titbits he could find while keeping a careful eye on me while I picked myself up.  We travelled all over Wiltshire together and into Dorset where we finally settled.  He lived to the ripe old age of 30 years in a paddock next to a track through the farm where he could see all the comings and goings and have a chat with anyone who cared to listen.  I miss him still

  • He looks lovely Dorset ,My mare died at 30 from a bout of colic. I also had an ex race horse for many years, but after he had to be put down after breaking a foreleg very badly in his field, I decided no more horses, so I just ride a friends one now twice a week. Hence that's why I have more time on my hands for gardening!

Bye the way Victoria, she did clear it, but I landed onimage my head and got concussion and was black and blue all over!!image
