yeh i might turn the caddie into a mini compost bin for home and when full chuck on the allotment bin. I think i know why it is moldy. the misses chucked gone off strawberries in which have gone moldy
Compost needs a balance of brown (shredded paper, cardboard) and green (vegetable matter). Leave until it has all rotted down and you can't tell what went into it and the garden and the little wiggy worms will love it.
