    If I had red squirrels raiding anything in the garden I'd gladly grow a crop exclusively fro them. image

    They need all the help they can get.

    Deer, rabbits and grey squirrels, on the other hand...I wouldn't be quite so benevolent image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Deer can cause huge amounts of trouble Steve. They might look pretty but....image

    We were lucky at last house as the deer populations didn't encroach. The rabbits more than made up for them though image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    You could grow them in a fruit cage next year, they're wind pollinated so it won't effect them.
