Lily, thinking of you and your family, what an ordeal you have to get through, but you will get through it and although it will be a tough day at least it will only be the one day, very sensible idea.
Take care of your back, and I absolutely agree with you, what a wonderful bunch of people on here, so kind and thoughtful and willing to share one's burdens.Makes such a difference.

Oh LP - I've just seen this. I can't add anything more to what's already been said. Sending you all my love - and take care of yourself too xxx
Anniversaries are always difficult Dyer's End - no matter how long ago they are - and especially when someone goes too soon. Love and a hug for you too xxx
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
A good neighbour can make such a difference to your life, pansyface. We had lovely neighbours at the first house I bought with my 1st OH. I've kept in touch ever since but haven't heard anything, no Christmas cards, for about 3 years. They always told me when they were moving house, but this time I think either they are in a home or they've died. They must be in their 80s now.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Pansy, I think Pdoc and I both know only to well how important it is to have good neighbours! It can be a major upheaval having new people in close proximity to you! I do hope your neighbour settles in to her new home and that you get some lovely people to live next to you in the future
Pansy ((hugs)) I do think that good neighbours far outnumber the bad ones - I hope that your current neighbour is very happy in her new home, and that her replacements follow her example
