you need ripe red ones. put them in a pot, some say remove the red stuff but I don't. Cover with some compost and I use grit to hold it all down and prevent algae growth. Leave it outside for the weather to do it's stuff and they will germinate in spring
I got seeds from a plant that i found in my woods that i am almost sure is hawthorn. It does not have thorns on the plant though. But it has the same leaves and berry. I thought it might be a crabapple but with the berry i have you can squeeze the seeds out like you did here. It isnt like an apple. But ththe seeds are smaller and there are multiple seeds in each berry. Any ideas?
They sow themselves in my garden. I've just dig up two and planted them in the paddock across the road along the stream. If they decide to grow they'll be great for wildlife and can get as big as they want.

Hawthorns have just the one seed in each berry.
Can you show us a photo of the seeds you have, and the plant with a closeup of it's leaves if possible?

If I sow when they're ripe and fresh they generally germinate the following spring. But don't chuck them if they don't, they may come the next spring

Mine seed themselves. I only know how long they take from nut/berry sowings with the kids
