  • I was introduced to astrantias this year at Hampton court show. I bought a white one called 'shaggy'. Anybody knows this. It is still in a pot and its beginning to fill it (bought as a small plug plant)

Can anyone give me any advice on growing astrantia from seed please? When to sow and where etc.?- I have a greenhouse.

I have astrantia major seeds taken from a friend's plant. Like the rest of you - I absolutely love them and want lots of them!

Sorry Winnie cat I'm not so good with seeds but I'm sure someone will know image

The guys above did say they are not always true to the plant they come from image

I do know established plants do split easy and I get lots of self seeded plants all around the garden so may be worth buying a couple and then go from there image

If you like I could dig you some up at the end of summer, just pm me your address image
