    @Mr. Vine Eye Vine I would also like to do this, could you tell me if there was any particular way to take the cutting ie, length, foliage etc? many thanks.

    I had one I left in the ground last year and when it didn't reappear I bought another.  Original then popped up so I've now got two!  Will leave them both in the ground, under a mulch and keep my fingers crossed.
    Gardening in East Suffolk on dry sandy soil.
