..impulse buying again today..couldn't resist the much mentioned Calamagrostis acutiflora 'Karl Foerster'... got in in a 10 Litre pot for £12... so already a good size and it's absolutely gorgeous... I can't resist plants when they are just coming into flower like this, looking so young and fresh... bought an attractive container for it, for time being...

Just bought my first grass Miscanthus Sinensis 'Gold Bar' .  Im having trouble finding a space for it where it looks at home.  I like the look of the grasses that look like oats.  If anyone can recommend a good one, not massively tall, I'd be grateful

sort of wavy and see through but about 4' tall, not that Im particular or anything.  The grass Ive bought is a bit stiff for what I wanted.

I've always disliked grasses because they have always been shown "looking dead" However I have seen some here that may change my mind. Already have the bloodgrass and it's hanging on by it's fingertips.  I'm going to put some in pots and see where we go.

Love the look of Hordeum jubnatum. Ahh - where will this lead??image
