You got it right Lesley, fishy has got some of those aquatic baskets, that flag iris will bust through! I suppose thats what happens when we grow wild things
Will chek out the pics tomorrow when my eyes are working properly! Night all x
Sweetpea, did you say once before that you had yellow sweet peas.
I have 2 different kinds of ground hugging sedums, one yellow one pink
I dont think sedums are suitable for terrariums they like dry soil, in a case they will be permanently damp. My ex and I used to make those, big elaborate things like the Victorians had, we put ferns and mosses in them.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
I've got a big glass jar now Lynne. It'll be living in the window and it's got a nice big hole in it too. No terraniwotsit just yet. Need to go to ikea after the move! So it is small sedums I'm looking for. Or cactus seeds. No rush though.
My yellow sweetpeas changed colour eventually. Some were white some went a peachy pink colour. I didn't manage to save any seeds as they didn't cope so well in a pot!
Hello, Im new here, just wanted to say I have some pink/white cosmos seeds and probably some nasturtium saved seeds ready quite soon if anybody wants any, I am trying to get a new garden established here - moved in a year ago, got veg patch sorted so my kids are happily munching on raw peas/beetroot/carrots but I am hankering after some more flowers. I have a soft spot for any Japanese anenomies (?spelling!) if anybody has any spare bits or root Or anything else, sick of looking at boring grass.
Hi Clare, nothing top offer in the way of J. anemones, but welcome
fidget, my verbascums have germinated already
Also some corydalis I sowed on the same day. I shall have to try and remember which they are, rather lanky in stem and darkish mauve. It will come to me
Hi guys I know I'm a bit late to this chat but I'd love anything which is along the lines of cut flowers such as echinacea foxgloves calendulas zinnias asters all that sort of stuff if anyone has any left please!

I take it that the cactus seed is for something else, they wont live in the jat either.
Hot and dry for cactus as well as the sedums.
If you want anything, please let me know.
