Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • I just got 2 large bag full of trailing rosemary, wow way too much to take on board, but cant refuse a good freeby, hit me up if u want cuttings! TBH I never saw this breed b4 today! so happy to give others this new freeby I got in my gardening job! image

  • Bekkie, due to the early summer and mild winter we had, everything is in bloom early now, so get busy saving seeds now, don't wait the extra month that u normally harvest as they will have self seeded by then! lol

  • My email for those interested in this hybrid of ur standard rosemary is : [email protected] this stream seems to grow much faster than most rosemary, and my boss says she just sticks it randomly in pots, no potting up, no rooting compound, just stabs it into the ground, if it takes, well woopie! but its bloody everywhere at her house, so seems an easy one to grow, with pretty purple flowers, which have just gone over image

Hi KG, ive been out collecting already, just to stop the little devils overrunning the garden if nothing else! image
  • ps all my boss's pots are root bound, and seriously need potting up, yet this trialing rosemary takes over every pot, she has about 10 pots and the orginal, which is 20 years old! strange I have never seen it b4, but then again im new to herbs sorta, but ti think it looks much nicer than the orginal
