Kitchen, are you sure its rust and not just brown on the cut end of the leaves.

I always take my leaves off by running my fingers right down to the bottom of it and breaking at ground level. Any cut end of a leaf will go brown.

Although, not every leaf has it, but I think I will chop it right back after it seeds, I just hope the seeds are ok!

Anyone got any orange sweet pea seeds please? image

I think that if you collect your own sweet pea seeds, you cannot be sure what colours will come. If you only want orange you may have to buy. I dont think I have seen orange ones.

I have Tarragon in flower! Beautiful purple flower on long stems, that strangely smells more like lavender than the leaves that smell completely different! image

Any way, if I can get seeds from them, I will be posting them here, there a bee/butterfly magnet! There are plenty of flowers, so hopefully plenty of seeds from them.

Shout out if you want some reserved!

If it's flowering it will be Russian tarragon which is used in herbal medicine, but is not really suitable for cooking.

French tarragon, which is the culinary herb, seldom flowers and is sterile and will not produce viable seeds.  It can only be propagated from cuttings.

I would like some monarda seeds if anyone has any - when finished flowering I can offer verbena bonaris seed, agapanthus seed, garlic chives seed, roots of Japanese anemone & arun lily.
