Mine were a mixed pack PAWP - though by far the majority were 'starfire',kind of more orange to reddish/burgundy? More like the typical marigold colour. I don't think there's any rules as such over seeds
Gran pls pm me your addy and i will post you the astrantia seeds. Also please can you ask someone about copying the letter as I haven't a clue how to So sorry, didn't want you to think we had forgotten about you xx
Victoria, It was Pinky who asked for alyssum. I've sent him a PM.
I did buy some tagetes in June but never got round to planting them. It was a Tesco offer - 20 cell trays of bedding plants for £3.
The ones I bought were Bonanza mixed. Everything from pale gold right through to mahogany red, and some had splashes of red on orange while others were almost picotee. They flowered happily all summer, despite being left in their tray, and I've collected quite a lot of seed from them.
You know what ? Could you send me some of your tagetes too please ? Then I'll have a good mixture of tagetes in different colours, and single & double flowered ones.
Happy to send anyone some Tagetes Bonanza mix if anyone wants some .
Am I correct in thinking that I can sow hardy annuals now to flower early next summer ?
I'll spend the day tomorrow sowing seed, so anything I have spare I'll offer here tomorrow evening.
Thank you to everyone who is sending seeds to me, isnt it nice to grow things from other peoples gardens.
I still have loads of those campanula plants, keep finding huge clumps of it, its amazing how quickly it spreads, I only started of with a couple of plants from Parkers sale catalogue!
I cant tell if its the blue or white now, but you are welcome to some.
