I've been growing Cherry Brandy for the last 3-4 years in Yorkshire and sadly none have returned next year as perennials, and some have grown vigorously in the year.
However i have noticed a marked decrease in germination and growth rate. I'd put it down to my own clumsiness but others here have mentioned the same issues. At the start i was giving plants away, this year i got about a 20% germination rate (down from 90%) and those that did survive were slow to grow and some were a little weedy - in year 1 there were all stunning. Trying again next year - i'll let you know how it goes. As i said its more than likely me, but it would be interesting to see how others get on
