It was really good. I'm knackered and artjak did the driving.

Thanks guys for a fabulous day. You're a really lovely bunch and by the end of the day it seemed odd to think we'd only just met. Garden's were amazing and extensive. Got a guide book to take home so will spend rest of evening perusing. Bought the potted blue tree above (well a small one) despite Nut pointing out it's not hardy. Please don't laugh when it's a twig after the winter. Panda's fault - said, "don't listen to her" although think saying don't listen to Nut is probably worst advice image. Had a ball. Thanks all xxx

Glad you all had a good time. Looking forward to more photos. Thank you artjak. I think those red plants are aeoniums.

Back home, Campari & soda taken and feet (and swollen ankles) up - what a truly lovely day image  Snoodle and Topbird were lovely and it felt as if we'd known them for ages, and it was great to see old friends Nut, Artjak and Panda.image

The only fly in the ointment was the newly charged batteries I'd put in the camera hadn't held their charge - must need new batteries image  So thank goodness some of the others had fully charged cameras and took loads of pics.  Some lovely ones from Artjak already image

After cake, ice cream and pots of tea at the gardens and the mandatory perusal and purchase of plants, Panda, Snoodle and I went to a great local pub recommended by Snoodle and had a drink or three and a lovely meal - consequently I've only just put Panda on the train and arrived home, totally bushed and very happy image
