10th is fine for me - I can do any date in August at the moment (except Tuesdays). My major commitment is 2 weeks hols at beginning Sept - but I won't be offended if you can't go before then (disappointed... - but not offended! image)

I'll wait to see if more of the usual crew can make it and if so, put it up as a new thread. Don't want to be the newbie taking over (blush face (on basic editor))

Artjac, this is the miniature kiwi I'm on about growing:

I have a Master Composter event at Hunstanton allotments on 10/8, which I am really looking forward to as I adore allotments. I think the forumatti gang should go if that is the only date available to you; I can always go to Beth Chatto's at a later date.

SuperN, will look that up, I think James Wong is the guy who promotes 'grow your own medicine'.image

panda, can you do 10th Aug?

Need to decide whether to go for it, or swap for a date others can make...

Don't change plans for me, but if it was later in August, and at a weekend, i would love to come - just checked google and it is only a 2 hour drive for me.

Does the last weekend in aug suit peeps better? I can't do that one, but if everyone else can then it should be then. Would you then be able to come Artjak? What about everyone else? If you throw me some dates I'll choose when the biggest number can make.

Or a two pronged attack! A double tripper! We go 10th aug. You go end aug. Photo comparisons! See who can get the best shot/ spot the rarest plant/ eat the most cake (blush face)...

Hi Snoodle, August is very full for me. I'll come if I can but don't alter dates for me

Any weekend apart from the 16/17 August should be fine for me image
