Sorry you didnt enjoy your visit Chris, the crowds at these places are unbareable even on two legs, i used to work as a promotions person and vowed i would never pay to go to one of these things, but they look so inviting on tv! Shame they dont tell you they usually only show coverage on press day!

I agree that no one deserves a free lunch, but some folks have no manners or consideration, on both sides of the fence image

So sorry to hear of your experience Chris.

I would endorse Philippa's comments. Itwould be interesting to  hear of RHS response in due course.

Chris, having paid your money you have a right to access the event the same as everyone else. No more, no less. Dont let the biggots get you down. By the way, I don't have a problem with you venting your frustrations, and I suspect the majority on here don't either. Those that do, have the right not to engage in the conversation.

for those whom quoted that i was winging and expected people to bend over backwards because i am disabled, then you are all highly miss guided , and in one

Clarington   your comments where unwarrented  and rude :

i do not expect the world to turn itself upside down for the sake of my disabilities, however as a paying customer i have the right to see the event as any other person regardless of my disabilities, clearly you are one of those anti disabled persons whom think we get and frequently ask for something for nothing, well thats not me i always pay my way, i payed my taxes, and gave my body, and and sole defending this country , hence my wheelchair okay so kindly do not assume anything or jump to conclusions with unfounded remarks.

I'm healthy and able bodied and I baulk at the thought of going to Chelsea or the Hampton Court Flower Show etc.

I love a day out looking at gardens , visiting galleries or just a day or two in London, but a day in the heat and crush of a summer flower show is not my idea of enjoyment image

Chris 25 - We have all got so much good growing weather in  our gardens at the moment that I'd hate you to think that this was an unfriendly site.  Love to see some pics of your garden and how you can make the best of it.  According to the reviews I've heard HC was a rip-off.

Hi Chris, I get far more enjoyment out of visiting open gardens, either organised by village committes or the rhs scheme. Not so crowded and people are more friendly, relaxed and  will talk about their gardens. Many are wheelchair friendly and will open early on request image
