Just went to check on the Robins, and they have gone! Could they have learnt to fly already? Will check tomorrow to see if nest is still empty (there were no feathers about, so I don't think anything has attacked them) and will take a proper pic of the nest, which seems very neatly made.image

Typical teenagers KEF; treated this place like a hotel...played loud music till all hours...raided the fridge...youngsters these days... I don't know...in my day..., ...in my day we were JUST THE SAMEimage

You'll probably see them around in a day or two, being fed by the anxious parents - the fledglings will be the slightly rusty coloured ones with speckled breasts and big open yellow-edged beaks image

Hmmm, just done a count back of days since they hatched - baby robins fledge at about 14 days - this is too soon - I'm afraid they've provided someone with Sunday lunch image

I think I agree with you there; it is too soon; though I might not have noticed they had hatched for a few days....

Could they have been hatched a week before you noticed?  If so they've probably fledged .... Did they have down or were they little skinny nekked things when you first saw them?
