Mine have been and gone also; I always think of them as spring flowers.
My sphaerocephalons are still green up here. They're a bit later than the bigger varieties though. Perhaps that's the one you have Goldilocks
Mine are finished and I'm tempted to cut one of the seed heads and put it in the greenhouse to dry. Do you reckon he seeds will be viable and do they take a few years to flower if they come?
