I made rhubarb and strawberry crumble yesterday - will a portion of that be an acceptable exchange for some crispie cakes? Its delicious with cream on.
Lottie, baby goldfinches! How fabulous. I am on my second brood of blackbirds which means I am unable to cut back the Clematis Armandii. Dunnocks everywhere, it must have been a large brood - or two nests, I hear they have a taste for polygamy.
Chickens still 3, no point introducing just one more. Hedgehogs - have a new boy, Basil, as well as Blue who has an inbuilt time clock for feeding time. No sign of the other one, though :- (
Dinner party guests: Lord Nelson and Emma Hamilton, (fascinated by their story), Grandad Burrows (who died before I was born), Alan Davies (funny and sometimes naughty), Victoria Wood (she's a bit shy like me), Bob Flowerdew (he can pee on my compost heap), Heather Gorringe (from Wiggly wigglers). The last two I can talk gardens and organic things with.
Andy seems to be getting the hang of this match at last.

They are in little cup cake cases there are only 6 left-not sharing but will consider an exchange
