I was not miserable, can we not send a boat and a few planes down to move the jet stream?

    Is it hot elsewhere?

You saw the lunchtime weather too then Geoff?

Wet again here. Ok was dry briefly first thing, but that didnt last. Have finished the inside window cleaning- daughter's cant actually get at with all her 'stuff'. Was debating doning wet weather gear & doing the outsides too- no sign of ANY window cleaner around here since last November!!

Hospital phonecall, only a day early! Scan last week was fine, & have the week dates of the next couple of appointments & scan.

Jam jars to be washed ready for when/if do any jam making this year- need more sugar.

Ah, Federer playing, s*d the windows! J.

Geoff can you bake a cake or do a sponsered swim?

  • sotongeoffsotongeoff Posts: 9,802

Am presuming my choc rice crispie cake is on its way via pigeon? or has the pigeon decided its too wet to fly? And I don't want to think about September, my tomato plants are still tiny. I am not holding out much hope of a crop.

Its drizzling here, but I ignored it and carried on with the weeding. I harvested the first pea pods today, and the first broad bean pod. Then ate the contents of two of the pea pods - yummy.

Kate, I will have to give this dinner party some thought.....
