  • The reason I asked the question is because the Beeb closed over the Christmas holiday !

    I realise that-but this isn't the BBCimage

  • Well pardon me for asking !

  • Not sure why the been boards used to close, but I am pleased this one won't. OH has had a mammoth cooking session this afternoon to make his favourite pies. Trouble is he has made loads and none of the rest of us are really keen on them! Off to bed shortly, just watching a bit of Joanna Lumley
  • Good morning folks!  Thanks for all your good wishes - you're all very kind image - am feeling slightly more human today although still getting waves of nausea and cramps, but nothing 'serious' happening.  think I'm probably dehydrated so will try to remedy that image.  Loved that video of the Nativity Play - there was a child with the same 'performance style' as that angel in my daughter's class - she never really grew out of it! image

    Moring forkers,

Another mega squelcherama outside today, and more rain for Christmas Day.

The most appropriate program on telly last night - Joanna Lumley retracing the story of Noah's Ark.

  • Morning, so much for my lie in, woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep. Came down for a cuppa and started titivating the decorations that the family sorted out yesterday. Managed to get some large pieces off the Chrissie tree, holly and ivy, which then got decorated with baubles. I shall post some photos of our endeavours later, don't expect too much though, I'm not very artistic.

Just got some present packing left to do. After my mammoth cook out yesterday, I'm taking it easy today. I made Nigel Slater's sticky cranberry sausages, ver nice, even though I say so myself!

    Have a good day

  • Oooh, a Christmas Miracle would be good (for a changeimage) otherwise OH will be learning to use the food processor to make stuffing for a chicken tomorrow!  image
