    Morning (and evening) forkers,

I normally go to Sainsburys early, around 7am. Today was my last shop for Christmas and I anticipated that a lot of shoppers would be there. So I went extra early. The shop was almost deserted. They seem to have been anticipating more people, and had more checkouts open, but most of them were doing nothing. All the shelves were fully stocked, so did all my shopping, and it was a very pleasant shopping experience.

Well, forkers, I see you are now into tomorrow and the world hasn't ended yet. ...

According to Sky News this morning, the Mayan calendar runs out at 11.12am this morning. That will be the exact time of the Winter solstice.

Well, my friends in Oz and Bali are still there--guess I'll just go to bed now and see if morning arrives.

Dean, so sorry to hear about your friend. If anyone could give her a good send off , it would be you.

I'm going to say Baby Jesus again for choc.

Much calmer here today . Hope the forking folk who live in the badly flooded areas are ok.

    Don't worry folks.

Just seen this on an American News channel.

Mayan priests have been performing the necessary rituals, so a new Era will follow. These guys know their stuff. Success is guaranteed....

    Morning all,

I'd forgotten about that prediction until now.....

Gary daughter went into Tesco at 2am+ t'other night. She said it was soo quiet- more staff than customers (2-3?) & you had to use the self service tills, but she thought a main till would be opened if nec. I often txt her a list if I need something as she drives past from work, but didnt know she was going this time.....

I'll be in S'burys very early tomorrow, with or without OH! My alarm is already set!

    Choc of day- baby, J.

My guess for today's Advent chocy - a Pantomime Dame (a 'woman' who is not a woman, nor a man).
