This is where you are all hiding. Thought you could get away from me eh!!!
In the middle of a storm here in Cornwall and I can't find my hatches to batten down.
Got to feed the chucks in a minute.' I may be gone for some time'.
I have a broody one too. I put them in a separate shed and it usually does the trick but they do get distressed thinking they are leaving their babies.
Am back. Nearly got lost in hospital, even the staff unsure of where I needed to go & how to get there!
Anyway made it! A nice nurse ended up taking me up in a lift- dont usually do lifts, but stairs didnt seem to get me anywhere sensible. Appointment went well & another staff member got me back down to ground floor & pointed me in right direction for my carpark- which was not full, so no problem there.
Nipped into M&S on way back as had dress in bag- if it hadnt needed washing etc it does now! Found jacket & yes the colour would be fine. Sussed out best size- am in-between really- then suddenly thought, big mistake, of the bag want to use. Not sure it'll be a close enough match/tone-in to jacket. Hmm, so have now put bag in my shopper ready for tonight & see if it is ok. You watch the 2 remaining correct size jackets get sold in the meantime.
Even checked out handbags, just in case, but nothing appealed. Why oh why did I not keep that little white one that I got cheap for the last wedding? Daughter insisted that I had a major chuck out a while back- grrr. Could always try the outlet place I suppose.........
Anyway success for daughter's wants, but she can pay for them, again tough if they get sold in meantime.
Have got washing in- pretty well dry & the wind is increasing- the patio doors sound as if a bee trapped in them!
BTW Kate, memory wont come totally back- double whammy to brain in past. I cope, not sure others do though....... J.
Can't find the June in Your Garden thread---another gray day here. Read in the paper that June has broken records for being cold here. Here are some pics---
Wood burning stove is lit and PennyDog snoring gently away in front of it. Waiting for the storm to make its way up from Pottiepam's. Not really my idea of a June evening.

Pottiepam, I am not sure you would be any good at hide and seek,
keep that storm down there we do not want it.
Jo sounds like you have had a fun day, if the clothes clash just say it is the latest fashion like wearing leopard print and stripes.
Geoff I was wondering how Flowerchild was doing to?? it would be nice to find out if the job matched all those crossed fingers.
Pottiepam-where have you been-don't remember receiving a leave of absence note-anyway welcome back to the world
Jo- you have such adventures-I want to be a fly on your wall
Arry has no idea how much money he has as he cannot read and write, he will have to work for ever.
