The various channels you can get are very confusing.
There are a set with come with a basic Sky subscription. And there's a different set that you get with Freeview via an aerial. And there's a slightly different set that you get with Freesat. And there's a slightly different set that you can get using a Freesat receiver, manually tuned.
I quite enjoy watching some of the shopping channels.
I don't know yet Geoff. I know Ghosthunters is originally a Syfy show in US, but as Gary says, could be on other channels. Ghost Adventures is a Travel Channel show in US, but is being shown on Really over here. I'm going to have to buy a guide and familiarise myself with what channels will carry the stuff I want.
The odd thing about us TV addicts-is no matter how many channels you have viewing selection still comes down to the main 4- and there offspring- with the odd bit of 5 thrown in.
Ghost Hunters is on CBS Reality at 3pm and 4pm Saturdays.
I actually buy Radio Times, just so I can see what's on easily. My local evening paper doesn't give listings for BBC HD (which often has some interesting stuff on it).

For those who watch ghostunters, I think that's on CBS reality.
Depending on what type of recorder you have, you may also be able to export recorded programs onto a flash drive.
