Have been watching flood pictures in the north-another month's of rain in a day apparently-oh how we love these phrases-us Southern softies got away with it this time-but it will be wet tonight.
My big day out is Tuesday- have booked the transport tickets-and the forecast looks good-something to look forward to
I am almost too scared to say it but I have had a lovely couple of hours in the garden, the clouds are fast approaching but I have been able to do a bit of weeding and tying stuff in.
Geoff can you take a fuchsia coloured umbrella so we can spot you. What time is your bus? How long do you anticipate queuing?
Well I have hoovered and Mrs Geoff has had the steam cleaner out-I have little gardening to do -just planted up 2 more containers to go by the front door-I am pleased to report that the saved/reduced mimulus and petunias are looking good.
Kate is is a logistical nightmare coach leaves here at 6 am -could have gone at 4am but decided against that-gets to Victoria around 8.50-then have 20 minutes to walk from the coach station to the railway station to catch the special bus to Wimbledon.I shall be fretting about traffic
Then the return coach leaves at 11.30pm to get back here at 1.45am then it is a walk home-I shall be rather tired
It will be a long but happy queue-will take a camera and get pics of the stars.
What needed tying in?- is everything now planted? any sign of the nethanderthal?

The run-time thing seems to have gone to the place where gateway 303 or whatever stays-I wish I knew what these things meant.
Awake too early again-why is that? it is not as though I have any work to do.
Kettle on

I have been tying in sweetpeas and honeysuckle. Every year I say the same thing about buying tender bedding in the sales, it makes much more sense.
Walking home at 1.45am will it be safe? You will be cream crackered. Will Mrs Geoff make you a picnic?
I don't think I shall be taking the walk back by the railway line at that time-picnic all organised-I have a list
Should I ask for a lift to the coach station at 5.45am? or be picked up at 1.45am?
Geoff did you see on the local news a woman in a hat protesting about green belt building? That was my 15 seconds of fame yesterday!
Flo
ITV or BBC?-didn't see it did you record it to show the grand -kids?
Geoff I thought all port cities were interesting after dark, will you be wearing the white joggers?
This one may be too interesting but not as interesting as Portsmouth
I feel there may be dress code but as I dont have a dress it will be shorts and a t-shirt -could wear the fuschia one -will that do?
Every time I see a camera I will wave-you see this is when you need a mad woman in a hat who has recent experience of the media .
