Ok, ironing done! Keep eating daughter's homemade biscuits, yummy.

Day out tomorrow with friend- total wash-out weather expected, but never mind.

I can also remember 208, gosh Tony Prince. J.

I shall be washing up again shortly so if I could have the dirty dishes?

It rained and it is muggy

It has rained overnight but feels quite warm, I may venture into the garden.

I had strawberries and cream last night - home grown strawberries. Don't have a cow so no home grown cream!

I only iron the sheets or curtains that I wear out in public - I am not an ironing goddess like Jo!

The scout and guide hut is falling down, we are in the very early stages of planning a new one but need everything - community support, money, a plot to build on - the whole 9 yards. The lease on the current plot expires in less than 4 years. Our stall on Saturday will be to sign up support and raise awareness! We have a banner and balloons.

I am not sure whether this is a first but a peacock has eaten all my basil ... Guinness Book of Records or what?
