But back to today's drama. SOMETHING has taken up residence in my shed, which houses spare fridge and freezer. It doesn't scuttle like rat/mouse, but there's definitely something there.

Update. Bloke went in and investigated. Slow worm which I relocated (bloke don't like snaky things!)

Evening all! Have had a lovely afternoon playing with Jess. Nothing else. Just doing whatever she wanted instead of telling her 'I'm busy doing jobs' like most times. She's loved it. She's missed nursery. image

Figrat! You did not just mention  the 'C' or 'X' word did you!! I nearly got kicked off the thread for doing that! imageimage

Kate, yes, we have planted other seeds from shop fruit as well. Still waiting on the Cherry and Apple ones to show though. Few strawberry ones have just poked through the soil! (Me and my strawberries image)

Wonder how David got on in Aberystwyth?

Evening all, Figrat, could it be a lion? There was one out and about somewhere!

Had a lovely afternoon at Holker Hall in the south Lakes, (after OH continued to get his money's worth out of the NHS!) Then went on to our favourite cafe in Grange over Sands for tea and cake followed by a lovely walk along the promenade in the sunshine. Took some nice photos, hope I can manage to get them from the camera on to the computer.

More day trips and cake, I am envious.

Becks my apple seeds took quite a while to germinate. I have also germinated a peach stone. Sounds like you had a lovely day.

Not a lion then. How about a cat in a basket? My neighbours linen basket, fortunately none in.

Glyn that looks a great place for a day out, is that a lavender hedge?

There is the promise here of a sunny day, I was woken early this morning by my neighbours 2 doors away having a skip deliveredimage so I am now considering a trip to the GC.
