Morning all....Becks, thought you (and perhaps others) may like to see some winter pics I took around The Chase.......on the Milford side where I live:
Morning all, just done my bit with next door's 3 cats, Chris. No fences between us, so nice and easy to do and no pesky alarm number to remember.
No lions on the moors where I live, but it is the UFO capital of the UK apparently. All I ever see are the lights of planes from Manchester Airport .... Or are they?
Well, I could have ANYTHING living in the grass and wouldn't know ! It's blowing a gale here and we have heavy rain so it won't be getting cut again today. The Essex lion could easily hide in my lawn.
David - what great photos. Not really a winter person but have to say I like the snow
I've just found a ''big cat'' asleep in the conservatory -
Well I managed an hour in the garden before it started to rain, I dug out a Hebe that has been struggling in a dry border and after I removed it I found 15 snails hiding in the leaves of a kniphofia.
Chris it must be nice to have family close by. I know what you mean about the responsibility.
Just got back from seeing to other gardens, everything is OK.. Yes it's great having my family close by, we all get on so well and have some great family "do's".
Daughter and OH are coming for a meal tonight, they live about 10 miles away.
Just having a bite to eat then I am going to watch last weeks Beechgrove, before the the kitchen calls.
Lovely cat Jean, obviously the boss in your house. ours is!

They are lovely David. Winter is my season. And we are lucky to live so close to such a beautiful area.
Chris, you are going to need a holiday yourself after all that!
That does look like idea mountain lion country, plenty of cover for deer and rabbits, the living larder.
If it had been Winter then identifying and tracking the footprints would have been easy.

It's certainly all go at the moment.
Glyn - I blatantly refuse to do manual work on an hire car! It's their responsibility!
But now fixed n packed, ready for the long haul!
Police have reported that with further observation, it turns out the Essex lion is just a snow leopard with a spray tan and hair extentions!
Jean, that's Rocky with his fur dyed
Wet and horrible here. We are going to Boundary Mill for a browse in the sale and then for fish and chips.
Enoy your afternoon, all.
Glyn
Jean, your cat doesn't look happy that you disturbed him!
Glyn - Fish and Chips - Yum!!
