Ho, ho, ho everyone - I'm feeling very happy OH took day off and we went on our first Christmas Shopping Expedition - 5 shops and did the whole lot in under 4 hours including coffee break. All I need now is for BJay to come round with the sellotape and wrap them for me . Sorry I missed the competition today Geoff but am glad the clues are back to your usual standard .

Evening, just got in. not in again until 7 Jan, working at home! Hurray, no scraping the windscreen, it was minus 4 this morning. I will be able to participate during the day and not have to catch up 4 pages.
Gave OH's plastic a bit of a melting Geoff but he's just glad he doesn't have to go again. The shops were no busier than a normal Saturday and quite a few price reductions around too.
Yes Geoff, simple pleasures like a decent airing cupboard matter! We've far too much stuff I expect, but the main problem in this house is cupboards/built in wardrobes on outside walls. Cold despite, cavity wall insulation, so a dry & warm cupboard for storing towels is wonderful!
Tomorrow I must get cleaned upstairs & packed for the w/end. Daughter may start to do the tree, or not.....she's still not a happy bunny, despite that sleep earlier, but at least she's sort of eating again. J.
