Morning early bunny rabbit, and other forkers still in their nice warm beds,

No sunshine here. It's dreary and cold. But not quite as cold as it has been. I've got two bird baths - a hanging one which was frozen, and one on the ground, which was not frozen. I won't be doing much outside today.

Morning all. Recovered from yesterdays hangover and wild party. Too old for wild parties. Must make note to self!!!

Very cold here. When are we going to have a few decent days? Can't come soon enough. Got loads to do!!

Morning all. -3° here, so a bit warmer than yesterday, snowing lightly. OHs birthday, the nice restaurants are shut on Mondays and we ate too much yesterday. Gloomy time to have a birthday.

Morning Bunny, Gary and Sue. I have emerged from my warm bed and am officially up&dressed. Dull cold nothing weather again. GW weather is usually a degree colder than BBC weather so I'm opting for 5* today. Indoor plans today apart from dog-walking.

PS Morning Liz. What a pain to have restaurants shut on Mondays!

Flo, I feel you're teasing me for complaining about lack of a luxury!imageimage But my birthday is in September and he always takes me out and I would have liked to take him out. He says to wait until his favourite one opens in March. It's a tourist area here and a lot is shut for the winter.

No Liz, I really meant it! It's the dreariest time of  year and it's such a nice thing to be able to go out for a lovely celebration. Blloomin' written communication, you can't put across the tone of voice and the facial expression!!

Thanks Flo. Sometimes I almost feel guilty for living in such a lovely place, especially when in my heart of hearts I would really rather live in England! But I have 4 children and 6 grandchildren living in France.
