Student days and visits before in S. Wales. Dad was very South Welsh as well so always been there inside me and around me, hence Nain or Mamgu or something
When we go up on the hill we can see the Black mountains as well.
Rest from knitting, one sleeve to go, will do some more in minute. I agree with Flo, takes mind off cake and wine.
if this weather keeps up won't have anything new for 1st March avatar
Hey Liz - bet their french accents sound pretty good too . Lift up to restaurant was pretty fast and it did feel a bit strange walking out to a wall of glass with 360 degree views. Looking out over the bay was fine but looking straight down at the buildings and marina took a bit of getting used to! Didn't put me off my food though
I know where you're coming from Caz. My sister had her wedding reception at a similar venue called the Ramada Hotel, Cannock, although nowhere as near as high, and it was of course, at the very top, with all glass windows. Very, very strange getting out the lift!

View of the city (can just see the Brecon Beacons in the distance)

No welsh accent here. English me, but proud (very) of my Welsh roots
I get told by French men that my English accent is charming
Was it scary in that restaurant? Looks horribly high. Hope the fish and chips was good.

That looks lovely Becks - or do I have to call you Miss now?
Don't envy anyone who might have had too much to drink up in these high places though
