Hello Chris, I'm a Christine too but only called that by my mum or when I've been norty! I'm Chrissie to most people. However, I very much like being Flo and it's nice and short. The latest list of popular baby names is out, I think ours will be well down the ranking - it belongs to 'a certain era' as do I ;- )

Prince Philip back in hospital again-as a cautionary measure-there will be a lot of reporters standing outside Aberdeen Hospitalimage

Kate -Pam or Jean might know about orchid-hopefully.

  • I like being Lottie although I'm not in real life!

Had a cold caller tell me today that I was 'very unhelpful' because I wouldn't put him through to the boss. Part of my job is to field these calls and get rid of the time wasters - I think he got the message!

Just got absolutely drenched going to my 'Back to work' interview, which I got to 30 mins early, as I got the time wrong, so had to walk round the town centre.

Thx for the scam advice. Did speak to OH who said just that. We do have an answerphone, so must just leave any calls to go to that. Genuine people will leave a message. Then dont have to be polite to a distant relative, not mine, who religiously rings every week to check up on me. Now I know I shouldnt mind, but it does get rather wearing.....

We've just had an almightty storm. Now not the best time to discover that the extension guttering needs clearing out- OH doesnt 'do' ladders/steps & as only 5'2'' I'm not a happy bunny up them either. J.

Think I might just do that Kate. Bought a bag of chocolate mishapes from Poundland. image

Yes Geoff, because I'm on benefits, I have to have a meeting every 6 months to review my circumstances and see if I'm actively seeking work. Today he basically said I have no excuse not to be working, and printed me off pages and pages of calculations about childcare costs and options. Which he does everytime. Fair play I suppose.
