So Becks does that mean they are going to help you find a job that fits in with childcare commitments etc-cos there are loads of jobs out there just waiting to be snapped up
Ooh I could try that I suppose if I accidentally pick a call up. It's actually very hard to let it go to answer machine when you are around to answer in person.
Wonder if/when will get my call to inteview re benefits? Once my medical condition was noted all letters, need for sicknotes etc ceased & they leave you be. Cant last can it?
Yes Flo, I think that Christine is one from the past although the Chaplin's daughter at my Mums care home is a Christine and she was only 13. I asked her if she like her name and she said "Yes I don't know anyone else of my age called that and that's good" It really surprised me, not the answer I expected.
When you hear the names of some of the children these days you feel lucky to been given the one you have. Is there anyone who really dislikes their name?
My Mum always calls me Christine, she says if she had wanted to call me Chris that is what I would have been Christened
They seem to think everyone lives in a perfect world Geoff. They don't help at all. All they do is suggest options. I don't need a meeting to tell me what my options are. I told him we only have two local nurseries, He said then find one near a job. I said my car was old and on it's way out, so transport would be limited. He said work round it. I told him I couldn't work weekends which most jobs these days require. He said re-arrange my weekend commintments.I asked what if the nursery I find hasn't the hours. He said split it between other childcare??
I wasn't making excuses, but everytime I told him a problem I'll come up against, he had a quickfire answer for. I can't wait to get back to work, believe me, but I'm not sure they see the whole picture for some people.
Becks-so you are talking to someone who is following guidelines laid down but has no experience how tough and awkward the real world is-it is like when you see politician's pushing the latest benefit cut yet when questioned about job opportunities do not have an answer.
They seem to think the country is full of benefit cheats whereas in reality that is not the case
Becks, next time take Jess with you and suggest he looks after her while you go and get this fantastic job that must be waiting for you. Take chocolate as well and feed her that, then let her wipe sticky fingers all over the place. And crayons so that she can 'help' him with his paperwork. That might make him more understanding.

Climbs off soapbox
Yeah, exactly.Oh well, thanks for letting me moan. Jess doesn't understand when I moan at her.
Nice to have an adult conversation.
Moaning over. Happy head on.

Clue - begins with a J.
Ha ha ha Lottie. She was with me. She has come to every one of the meetings. She has to. Nowhere else for her to go. I like the chocolate idea though.
