Thank you Rosa for your sensible answer how do I get a seed catalogue ?
I need to fill up front rockery (removing some rocks and putting in clumps of colour) instead of buying all new plants though I'd 'plant' some seeds too (not in ground into pots, summer bedding or things that I can grow on, pot on , will come up again) , as its so wet there thought seeds may end up cheaper than replacing plants if they don't work
Hope you don't change avatar to a thong Geoff with your new name
Why not get some cheap bedding plants for this year - loads of places sell them, will brighten it all up while you have a think and find out what to do, ready for next year
Bunny there are stacks of annuals on this site. If you find plants you like you can look for them in the GC, or just order a catalogue from Thompson & Morgan, Suttons, Unwins etc. Look them up on Google.
Figrat, I laughed at your link earlier.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
