I think marathon may be my preferred chocolate bar
Kate-it has to be somewhere in Amsterdam-but is proving tricky to find out if there are any restrictions-the obvious place is off a bridge over a canal but can you?-say a boat suddenly appears
There has been lots of records smashed in these games. There was a lot of talk about the young Chinese swimmer and even suggestions that she had had gene therapy but I didn't hear any murmers when the American swimmers broke records and they have'nt been exactly innocent in the past.
We scattered my mam-in-law's ashes in the sea near us. We went down some steps at high tide with the sea lapping at the bottom of the steps and scattered the ashes and threw som flowers on the waves. To our horror two surfers came behind us and plunged straight into the sea not realising what they were swimming through. It did lighten the mood afterwards though.
Am currently stood in the poly tunnel sitting out an absolute deluge of rain! Been lovely all morning too! But "Meal's on Wheel's" service completed, I do have my radio n a few cold beer's! So in no rush!

Not yet -that is still in the wardrobe behind the joggers-it is going to one hell of a long last journey.
I need to check if it is ok in Amsterdam-don't want anybody coughing and spluttering on blow back
It is a very odd journey, do you have a place to spread the ashes?
The sun is out
A new Olympic record for the women's marathon then, 2.23.07.
