Morning, all--another miserable day here. But not freezing and no floods, so it could be worse.
I have had an abcessed tooth blow up overnight--thankfully I already had a Dr's appt for this afternoon to have a no-smoking aid prescribed----and luckily my friend had some painkillers and is going to town tomorrow, and can pick up prescriptions. I got down to 7 smokes yesterday.
Trying to get enthusiastic about Xmas--my neice wants to come here, so I will probably have a small tree---no turkey, though, as she is a vegetarian.
That abcess sounds dire, Inka. My OH had a face like a football when he had one once - looked so painful. Hope yours is quickly cured. I expect you're made of sterner stuff than my OH, I think most people are! ;- )
Geoff, I have let the decorator off today as he had an outside job to finish. He'll be back on Monday, and Tuesday, and maybe a bit of Wednesday. I have begun to stop feeling quite so guilty about having someone else doing jobs in the house that I feel I should be doing.
If Dean is a country park, does he have a Forest as well? One of my sisters lives in the Forest of Dean.
I have survived the day! Although a very long one!
