Am glad its not just me failing with the radishes. I managed to grow really nice ones the first year I had the raised beds in the garden - must have been the new compost. I'm going to try sowing in a different area. Ever hopeful - I have sown some dwarf french beans.

Kate, just hope the mum comes back!

No didnt see about a ticket, but if only 1 then t'other 2 are going to get cross & OH wouldnt be interested anyway. He's only going to photograph the plants, oh & be a packhorse when we collect our goodies from the creche! Only he doesnt know that yet! image

Washing out. Not cold at all & a good wind/breeze so IF it doesnt rain for a bit may get stuff dry after all.

Someone has too-they keep referring to this torch as if it was a living thing-the torch has moved here and there or stays overnightimage

    What about the Zinnias?

  • kate1123kate1123 Posts: 2,815

I thought that there were hundreds of torches?

The zinnias are variable, I have a few huge plants, some small plants and some very eaten plants, but no flowers. The Eucomis are looking great though.

There are -perhaps thousands -they treat is as if it were a supreme being and needs tucking up at nightimage
