Lottie I cant grow radishes either! Gave up trying here yrs ago & yet when little always grew them in my Nan's garden.......
Have had a good w/end staying at OH's little house & doing quite a bit of walking. We got soaked on saturday afternoon & so did my car seat as couldnt get inside quick enough! We had finished our walking as I was beginning to struggle. Still have discovered more walks to do around that spot- resevoirs.
Yesterday the sat nav had a 'wobbly' but we did manage to get to a NT moorland with a visitor centre & cafe, which we didnt use. Now know the way there & the parking & loads of walks to do- we only scratched the surface really. Sat on a rock in the sun by the side of a bubbling stream eating cold pakoras- Sat nights' take away left overs. My fittness level is slowly improving & today I trotted into the nearby town centre quite quickly- or was it the thought of a decent coffee?!
Jo, you are not alone--I just yanked my radishes, which went to seed without forming bulbs. Too much nitrogen in the soil, I guess. It has happened before.
Looks like it will be a fine day after yesterday's little rain.
I need to move some hellebores. Wonder when is the best time to do it.
Well Kate-glad you asked-final part of Blackout -only glanced at part 2-Revenge continues -but it is a bit slow-soaps as normal-Panaroma on fly tipping and a doc about the riots.
