I talk to anything, whether it be dead or alive! With only a 3 year old for company, sometimes it's a must! image

I don't know about Sally the psychic Geoff. I'll have to look her up!

Pam, that would be great. I always associated overwintering with greenhouses (my newbie status showing through), which I don't have. Here, it's either in the ground outside, in a container outside, or in a pot inside, but if cuttings work on a windowsill, I have room for them! image

Strangely enough had sausage sandwiches yesterday-aren't stones and roses a beat combo?

Perhaps they'll be playing there Geoff, I love a twofor, but would probably be happier with James Taylor

Am off to visit village scarecrow competition. Doubt if any of them will speak to me, but will have camcorder on stand-by, just in case.

Scarecrows were originally pagan effigies, used for goodness-knows-what, besides scaring crows.

When my eldest was really small-he was in his high chair and we thought he might like Worzel Gummidge-when Worzel turned his head round and talked he screamed the place down in terror.image

@ Geoff does he remember it?

  • sotongeoffsotongeoff Posts: 9,802

I shall remind him at a suitable point in his life along with the baby pictures of which parents are so fond of showing at inappropriate times

Penninepetal-have you told OH about this fixation on James Taylor?

It stopped raining long enough for me to pop to the shops, the sausages are under the grillimage I also dead headed a few plants and cut back the Himalayan honeysuckle as it was swamping some dahlias.

Why do parents like to mortify their kids???
