Interesting to note that the original kitchen garden at Chatsworth was 11.5 acres. This would have employed about 40 fulltime gardeners and would have had to feed hundreds of visitors & staff, plus cater for endless banquets & balls.
The average Victorian kitchen garden of the big estates was about 4 acres and would have a staff of about 15 gardeners, under-gardeners & journeymen. They again, had to provide all fruit, veg & flowers for the big house.

I've asked him which the big blue one is
I have Blue Angel, which looks similar, and Hadspen's Blue, which is much smaller.
