Hi, this yellow flower sprung up this year with no intention from me. I like it, but was wondering what it is. Can anyone help please?

Meconopsis cambrica. They do come in orange and red, naturally or not, I couldn't say. Avoid the red, they're not as nice as ordinary field poppies, Papaver rhoeas.

They seed about a bit Pandaimage

Mine have all self seeded, I've never sown them and they have always been around since we move in our house, very delicate and pretty image
