Despite being Scottish and gardening in Scotland, I always thought the Beechgrove Garden was a bit parochial but I have changed my mind in the last few years. I do enjoy their 'trials' ! Everything from composts to planting bulbs upside down. Not sure what they hope to gain by using Chris B. unless it is a hope to broaden their viewer base down south. I enjoy the viewers' problem corners but do not enjoy their community projects. Well, I suppose it is easy enough to criticise from an armchair!

I think Chris B. is a real asset to the Beechgrove team. I have found his slot with the new plots to be excellent and the explanation of aspect this week informative.

I remember them all.
Was never very fond of Peter Seabrook but I remember all the other ones with fondness. Them were the days!
