Jamie, you need to type straight into the box, not cut and paste from elsewhere. I think if you do C & P, you have to do it as plain text.
sorry about that. just wanted to know if there are any aquilegia that grow taller than 1.2m. mine has reached this height this year, and i love it.
No probs. I found out the same way you did :- )
I've personally never seen an aquilegia that tall (sonds fab, btw) but I bet someone out there has!!
i have been reading up and most grow to 3ft. i havent had to look after really just plant straight into the ground water well and let it grow.
Hi jamie i have a garden full of aquilegia and they vary from 12ins to 1.5m how they first got in the garden i dont know because i've never bought any.but every year i collect the seed then scatter around the garden in march. Fantastic flower it never fails to put a smile on my face.
I like this one, it's only a foot tall though. It's called Aquilegia 'Virginia' [aka Swan Series Blue and White]. I'd like to know the names of any taller ones.
i only have the black ones. i have aquilegia black barlow. they are quite tall this year. i suppose its all the rain they got in the past few weeks.
