Identifying Seeds (Help Needed)

I was given these these seeds about 6 months ago and I now cannot remember what they are.... should have labelled them.

All I can say is, that I think they are fruit seeds

Any help in the identification much appreciated...

This is 100%  a fruit seed/pip as my wife has just told me. We ate it in Spain

late last year. That doesn't mean to say that the fruit is from Spain. It's possibly an exotic type.

  • I've found this photo of the fruit.

I do remember that the smell of the fruit itself wasn't particularly pleasant but, the taste was delicious

persimmon   =    el caqui or kaki

They are rounder than kaki seeds

I'm afraid not.The top photo in my last post is a kaki so you can see the difference from the inside.

I've sent an email to my brother in law in Spain who, also ate one last year so I am hoping he can remember the name.

Still looks like passion fruit to me, but not the standard one as purchased in the SMs
