I need to kill an invasive plant, I dont know what it is so have posted link to a picture. It grows very fast and can engulf the house if left. https://imageshack.com/i/e9vi4bj Cheers

Perhaps someone can put this up as a link, please.

Sounds like it could be japanese knotweed.

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

I'll see if I can linkify it

It gets as tall as it can, I pulled it down and some went up 25 feet, under the tiles into the loft space and rooted into the gutter. Will grow a foot in a summer day. Doesnt cling like ivy and can be pulled off easily.

    Where do you live andy?

    Does this plant flower?

Does it have tendrils to cling on with'

Does it wind itself round other plants or structures?

Can it support itself or does it always climb, sprawl?

    Southend. Essex.

Never seen it flower. It doesn't really cling, it just sits over the fence and comes down easy.

Found a picture of what it looked like in december before I pulled it down from out the window
