Anyone got hydrangea glam rock?
I keep seeing this (it has been on offer through GW) , hydrangea Glam Rock. It looks too good to be true. Common sense tells me it won't be as impressive in 'real gardens' unless the ph is spot on and even then maybe not. Has anyone any experience or photos of theirs? Thank you.

Snap MrsGarden, I very nearly ordered it and I have seen it in my local GC too so know it's a good deal.
I agree with you about the colours but aI think it might be a new variety this year so I'm not sure if anyone will have experience of it flowering??
I do love Hydrangeas though....hmm, now you've got me thinking

It's T&M so the real plant will not look like the enhanced image they show.
Also, if its from t and m it may be a tiny plug, you probably wont see flowers for a few years. Make sure you find out how big a plant you will get for 7.00, and will it come with a guarantee.
I'm thinking I may get one with my birthday money but if I do will get it from my local GC so I know what I'm buying. If 2 packets of seeds take almost a week from T&M goodness knows how long this would take and not read good comments recently re plant quality
Thanks everyone, not quite what I wanted you to say
Wanted you to say it's massive and completely true to colour on the photo regardless of where it's planted - never mind!
Did put it on my birthday list last Oct but took it off again when I saw how small it would be and considering the price. I'll keep my eyes open at GC when it should be in flower later in the year.
My local family run GC isn't huge MrsGarden so I'm sure they would have them near you somewhere?
I might have another look next week while I am off and let you know. If you can't get one, I could always deliver one to you when I am over that way with work
Bought one last year sadly it died on me.
Thanks nodlisab, not looking promising is it? Think I'll wait a few years!
Just read the small print for this '' The flower colour will differ according to your soil PH'', in other words it will not look like the picture.
That's what I wondered, haven't read the small print though.....cheeky isn't it??!!
Don't think I'll bother either now MrsGarden, I'll just stick to regular Hydrangea
