Love all these cat pictures image Victoria, what is it with cats and boxes? Can't keep mine out of them, no matter how small the box image

There was still a tray of plants in the box as well...luckily they were packaged up like a ready meal so were fineimage Somehow the smaller the box the funnier it is tooimage

This is two of my house cats, Tonto (a Bengal) and little Daisi Mai (a spotted tabby Oriental).

I lost my cat about 8 weeks ago and she was a real garden fan (only in fair weather mind you!).  She was 19 and sadly had cancer so had to be put down.  At her age I was convinced that she would go to sleep one summer under one of her favourite plants and pass away in the best way possible - in the sun.

Even though she was tiny, she was very fierce and chased out all other cats.  I have now noticed that the neighbourhood cats are starting to come into the garden again and use the borders as facilities.  I didnt mind my own cats doing it but not keen on being used as the local public loo!

She was also very keen on sitting on our potatoes which were being chitted (like a hen with her eggs) and also took great pleasure in sunbathing on top of the garlic we had harvested and were drying out!

    Hi SFord,

Sorry to hear about your cat- she sounds like she was a little character image

It reminds me of a small cat my late mother rescued- she kept quite a bit of territory and she and the dog would chase other cats out the garden together. When she was put down my mother's other cat promptly lost all the territory and got attacked by a strange cat in his own garden image

It would be nice to see a photo of your little cat if you have one? image

Would love to post a photo - but not sure how to.  Instructions would be appreciated!
