    Maybe Fidget can advise better than me but I think it's too near the fence for it's shallow roots to grow and maybe impoverished if conifers were there before. Maybe it was also disturbed when the conifers came out. Give it plenty of "food" as Fidget does with hers. I'd be temped to move some of the plants from the base of it.

  • I had the same problem after 6 years I spoke to someone at garden center who told me to try and water with a fine hose head at the top of the plant and see if that helps it pollinate which I did last year and it worked so I am doing same this year and hoping it works again .

  • Mine was reluctant to flower. Someone suggested mulching it with coffee grounds. I gave it a go and it has flowered ever since.
